It's a shame that while you may have the look of someone who is educated in the "hidden" philosophies. You have just enough knowhow in making the appearance. There seem to be a few discrepancies with your argument though. First:"Occultists are people who study and practice the Occult as a study of Truth". I would go further to say that my highest truth may not be yours or yours another persons occultist or not for that matter.
Second:"It’s sort of a type of spiritual philosophy which is sometimes classified with different religious belief systems such as Paganism, Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Luciferianism, and Thelema and sometimes not." This kind of blanket statement is very misleading since Gnosticism is derived from christian belief, Paganism is a nature based religion borrowing roots or trying to reconstruct the ways of prechristian europeans and not quite occult since you can just look at history books and study mythology to glean your understanding,Hermeticism and Thelema are both magico-religious systems designed to bring you closer to deity and evolve your spirit in what is called the "Great Work" while Luciferianism is based on being a law unto yourself and honoring yourself above anything else as "god" since they feel they are on top of the food chain.
And yes they are sometimes classified together and sometimes not. But I could just as easily say that pizza and shoe polish are sometimes classified together sometimes not. Or maybe whiskey and water. And while most seem to be striving towards connecting with deity, I do not feel that Luciferians do much soul searching.
Next is the assumption that that the only spiritual channel worthy of consideration is that which is Biblicly god-inspired. And while I know of many people of the christian persuasion who I'm glad to know, the same is true for other persuasions. I would be beyond arrogant and downright ignorant if I was to say every word I wrote is the only truth worth considering.
And while it is true that the "occult" especially magical practice is dangerous and care should be taken, the "mis-lead occultist" would probably appreciate the kind words, concern and patience shown towards their needs and problems but wouldn't any evolved being do that for anyone in true need? And secondly, who's to really say that someone studying and applying occult philosophy is in that need? Is it because thay choose to think differently? Would someone naturally feel angry at someone who is "involved in this type of practice"? And why would an occultist return TRUE kindness, help and understanding with anger? The point is that not all occultists or occult things are evil or against god. And that beutiful symbol that is in the top corner of your essay? It was a symbol given to a Mr. John Dee, advisor to Queen Elizabeth I. A man it was believed that was in excellent standing with his society and saught after by all of Europe at the time. The point is this man helped save christianity as it is known today due to his assistance in defeating the Spanish armada and secondly he discovered a beutiful system set up so that us mortals can work with the ctrerations of god, The angels. I don't know about you but angels seem to be pretty Biblicly God- inspired to me. This knowledge is Hidden and that means Occult but the question is, is it worthy of our consideration? There are many possibities available to those that are brave enough to uncover hidden knowledge, the least of which is secular power. I would ask those who ask the question to first ask their Deity for the grace and wisdom to discern for themselves.
