The people in the Japanese area have been practicing Shinto for several years. The religion is as historic as the cultures of the Japanese people. Today, many people consider Shinto to be a part of the Japanese culture. In fact, there are several public shrines in the area that people visit and reverence.
Philosophy For Life
Furthermore, Shinto means “way of the gods”. This philosophy is a way of life that was actually adapted from the Chinese. Individuals not only practice the religious traditions stemming from Shinto, but they also believe that it should be part of their daily lives. Origin
One of the earliest origins from this religion involves the creation myth. Several Japanese people believe that the Gods had their hands in the creation of the Japanese islands. In this myth, the gods created japan with a spear. They used the spear to stir water. When they removed it, water dripped, creating the Japanese islands. Although Japan has advanced over the years, much of the geography has remained the same in Japan.
